Best pub in Ipswich - bands, staff, management, atmosphere are all great, this is a real music-lover's pub.

The Railway, Ipswich

Once a decent venue now a grim dive. Has recently had a ridiculous noise limit imposed (110 decibels) I turned up with my band to play and our drummer alone was 120. Thing is, standing right outside the pub you can barely hear bands at all. This place is not going to last long. Miserable staff, overpriced beer, they are digging their own grave. Boycott.
