Planning application refused. Now open again. New tennant has 2 (out of 6) hand pumps in operation (typically good quality JHB & Tiger) whilst customer base increases.

Closed pending a decision by the Council over a planning application by the owner to knock the place down and build flats.

Serving vinegar through the Deuchars pump and smooth through the London Pride pump. Serving beer in plastic glasses, but allowing bottles of tramp juice to be taken outside. Not surprised that the police turned up yesterday evening.

Wnet in early evening, mid-week. A decent selection of ale which unfortunately doesn't appear to be kept that well. Got a pint of Nethergate which was worryingly warm. Followed this with a different brew - vinegar! Didn't notice anyone else in there drinking ale - now I know why. Decent juke box though.

One to avoid if you want real ale. Went in mid-week. Two hand pumps - neither of which produced anything drinkable.
