The Harrow, Hadlow

Good pub food, good beer, excellent staff. They are polite, welcoming, attentive and, most importantly, competent.

There's a very big beer garden out the back with a play area for children.

The Queen's Head, Nutfield

Dropped in with a group of about 15 or so after a cross-country race nearby. The food is absolutely excellent and dished out in large servings - I had lamb chops. The beer is well kept. My only criticism is that the locals and landlord were a little stand-offish with us in the beginning. That doesn't matter, we will return.
