The Two Brewers, Windsor

Beer was just awful and overpriced. I can't comment on the food as I've not eaten there however when you've seen a dog crap on the carpet I don't think I'd want too. Word to the Landlord. If you are serving food in a tiny establishment, how about a dog ban. At least during food hours.
With the rant over. The staff are always welcoming and the clientele are nice folk. Always a good atmosphere, especially on a Friday night. Once the beer has been corrected this pub could be a jewel. 6/10

The Carpenters Arms, Windsor

Great pub. IMO the best in Windsor.

Ok. It's not always the liveliest of places but the ales are in good condition and the Guinness is the best pint for miles and at 2.85 a pint it's probably the cheapest.
The barstaff are courteous and welcoming. A very chilled out and relaxing pub with no riff raff. 10/10

The Highlander, Windsor

Grotty, dirty pub in need of a good clean up. The Guinness was dire.
Seating area outside. That's if you don't mind sitting on sticky seats with unclean tables.
Tip for the Landlord. A warm soapy cloth wiped across your bar and tables at least once a year wouldn't go amiss.
DISGUSTING !!!!

The Watermans Arms, Eton

Have been back to the pub 3 times since June. All I can say is what a difference 2 months make. It's getting worse !
The Landlady (Scottish ?)seems more than content to be drunk and on each of my returns she has been unpleasant, vile and rude to customers. If the jobs too difficult....move on !!
Last weekend with only 2 people at the bar the barmaid took 10 minutes to serve then totally forgot to top up a Guinness ! She took great exception when asked to top it up. All service was greeted with her sucking her snot through her nose, coughing onto her hand without a hint of using a tissue or washing her hands. Disgusting !
The only saving grace was the barman. When the pub was busy last Sunday (great band btw - Million Dollar Bash). His attention to detail was great. He was not once flustered, remembered the rounds and who was drinking what and was extremeley polite under pressure.
The landlady could learn a great deal from this man.

Once a great pub. Landlady is hospitible and hardworking. The landlord is a miserable so and so. Not bad beer but not good either.

A good pint if you don't mind dying of thirst ! This place could be empty and barstaff will keep you waiting.
Sort you staff out landlord. They are losing you trade !

The Red Cow, Slough

Nice pub. Good food and beer. Agree with the previous poster about the 'football element'. Get rid of these it will easily be the best pub in town.

The Wheatsheaf, Slough

Good luck to the new owners. Lets hope they don't undo the good work of the previous landlords and let the dregs back in ! Rumour has it, it's run by the same family as the Queen of england. Please not another irish pub.
Time will tell.

The Henry VI, Eton

What a pretentious pub. This used to be great. What happened? Over priced but not bad beer.

What's all the sofas for. Landlord..THE PLACE ISN'T BIG ENOUGH !

It's now a pub that is trying to be something it's not.

The heart and soul has gone from this pub !

The Bee, Burnham

Only my second visit and what a great pub. Was there Saturday. Live music. Warm atmosphere. Great beer. The publicans are very friendly. Even though it was busy the barstaff were A1.
I took a walk up Burnham High St.and the pubs were dead. Not the Bee. Absolutley buzzing (no pun intended).
Long may this jewel in Burnhams crown continue.

Well done to all.

The Wheatsheaf, Slough

Shut ?

This place has been in darkness for the last 3 weeks.
Come on Fullers help the managers out. The place is obviously struggling. The pub has been great for the last 2 1/2 years since the druggies were kicked out.
Nice pub, great beer.

Fullers.. Sort it out !!!
