The Rashleigh Inn, Polkerris

If I wake up in the Rashleigh on a warm summers day I will know that I have died and gone to Heaven.

A stunning location on a beautiful small cove .

A selection of real ales . The five I tried were all in good nick.

Good food served well and a view out of the restaurant window that would be impossible to beat anywhere in Britain.

This has to be one of the best pubs Ive ever visited ,and that is quite a few. If there was anywhere in North Wales half as good then id be there every week.

Ship Inn, Portloe

Called in on Sunday night looking for food. The greeting we got was like the scene from "an american werewolf in london". To say we wernt welcomed would be the understatment of all time. Menues virtually thrown at us . Landlord completely dissinterested and locals looking at us as if we were aliens. Made an excuse and left. It felt like escaping. Its a long time since we had such a bad time anywhere. Avoid this place like the plague.

The Ship Inn, Ugborough

On holiday and hungry so just turned left of the A38 . First village we came to and on the outside wernt sure. But glad we stopped . Really clean , warm and welcoming. The food was great and not too pricey. Sometimes pot luck pays off. Would recommend this place to anyone.
