The White Horse, Hedgerley

As most others have said, The White Horse has a great selection of beers. The thing I like best is the fact that it's one of the only pubs I know that has a nice Belgian stong beer on tap. However, they only have one at a time (per month), and sometimes it's one of those fruit beers...which I don't like. As far as their other beer, I have had one or two that might have been reaching their age limit, but I suppose that's expected when you try to keep so many beers...many of which are largely unknown. The place is great when the weather is nice...to sit either in front, or the back garden. Never ate there, so can't comment on that. Worth a visit.

The Royal Standard of England, Beaconsfield

Sure it can get over-run with tourists and such...but this place has real charm, and a fantastic selection of beers...not to mention, some hot looking waitstaff (eastern European perhaps?) Fireplace is always lit in the winter, and the garden is fantastic in the summer. Very good food too, albeit quite pricey. Worth a visit.

Royal Saracens Head, Beaconsfield

They ruined this place with the refurb. Feel like I should be drinking a martini in this place now, versus a beer. Catering to the upscale Beaconsfield crowd now I presume. Feels like a girly place now....purple chairs. Yikes.

The Old White Swan, Beaconsfield

A pretty nice neighborhood pub, with a nice back garden, and a good selection of beers. Staff has always been friendly. Don't know about the food....haven't eaten there yet.

The Greyhound Bar, Beaconsfield

No longer a pub, but rather turned into an eclectic cafe. Foo foo colors, and modern seating. I say thumbs down. Bring back the old pub. Too sterile.

The Charles Dickens, Beaconsfield

A so so pub. A bit dingy inside and could use a refurb. Some nice beers, but nothing to go out of your way for.
