These people are trying so hard. The atmosphere is spot on and you get a good warm welcome. The beer is probably some of the best kept in the village. Looking forward to the completion of the work but it doesn't distract from a very friendly place.

Sooooooooooo commercial. The owners seem to think it's a hotel with abar rather than a good old pub. Shame. The beer isn't too good either and the prices are very HIGH - especially the food.

Never had a good pint here unfortunately. Food is lacking and seems like microwaved frozen tat. As for the owner, really needs a personality implant. Shame as it could be a good pub.

Lovely the way you rate your own pub so highly yet put ALL the others down. And I hear it's up for sale - yet again.
