The Chelsea Ram, Chelsea

This used to be the best pub in the area.........and now it isn't........there you go!

The Temperance, Putney Bridge

I was also in the pub on Boat Race day....and it was quite obvious the menu had been chaged to simplify and speed up service and was advertised all day (and at the same prices/similar to the normal menu) so don't see the issue.I know the management is relatively new but this pub seems to be going in the right direction with a great selection of Ciders and unusual beers available. Just have to wait and see but I find it about the best value in the area at the moment and with a nice friendly vibe too.

The Boar's Head, Horsham

You can't please all of the people all of time as the very mixed reviews prove. The managers have been here over a year now and the pub has never been busier. This is now easily the busiest pub in Horsham so obviously more people like the new style Boars Head than don't like it......simple economics mean that the pub is now a succesful business and if it is too busy for some of the old regular crowd than so be it. Beers good, foods good, good atmosphere, never any trouble..........can't really ask for much more!

The Dukes Head, Putney

I went to this pub last night for the first time as I was meeting a friend. After waiting 15 minutes to be served wen the bar was not particularly busy (I would have walked out but I had arranged to meet here)As an ex-publican of years standing running pubs, bars and clubs I can honestly say theywere the slowest moving staff I have ever seen behind a bar....When I eventually got served ther were only two lagers available out of 4 or 5 advertised and only two bitters available out of the 4 or 5 advertised. This is a badly run, badly staffed pub which relies on its location and high prices and I would certainly never return.
