The Clock House, Teddington

If this is an example of a traditional pub, no wonder they are dying out.
Horrible place.

The Anglers, Teddington

Great view, eccentric, chaotic service.

Nice real ales, good ambience, crap service (Prepared to think it might be the staff first time but as it keeps happening it is a management issue. Sort it out.

Thank god they have the view...

For decent service & nice outside space either go nerxt door to the Tide End or if the other end of town the Garden of the Queen Dowager or inside the Adelaide. All different but you could learn a lot.

The Tide End Cottage, Teddington

A nice pub but I hear Colin the Landlord was slashed across the face with a knife recently. We don't want this sort of nonsense in Teddington. Get well soon.

The Builders Arms, Teddington

Continues to improve.
Nice pub, good wine, nice beer, decent decor.

The Adelaide, Teddington

Lovely pub, cosy, good service, friendly host. Shepherd Neame pubs always seem to be comfortable and in a good state of repair - they care so much more than the big boys. Youngs and Fullers are not bad but could learn a thing or two.

The Hogarth, Teddington

It is ok during the week at lunchtimes - pizza deal is good.

Chav central, especially when football is on (constantly). The wine may be good but everyone seems to drink lager.

The Park Lodge Hotel, Teddington

This has a airport departure lounge / railway waiting room feel to it. Staff are willing, food and drinks are ok but it isn't quite there.
Comfortable enough with faded Victorian grandeur.
As others have said it is safe but dull.

The Queen Dowager, Teddington

We came here on for Sunday lunch on Mothers day and it was excellent. I had heard it was greatly improved and I can also striongly recommend it - surprised it isn't busier. We are fussy and the quality of food, drinks and service were exceptional.
Due to delays my mother arrived first and rather than feel awkward was welcomed by the landlord and a couple of affable locals.
The chap running it was extremely friendly and funny. The beef was top quality and I can also vouch for the bangers and mash, fish and chips and paninis.
Like previous posters we liked the Hollywood photos- mum still fancies Clark Gable.
His wife is also delightful and we liked her home made chocolate mousse.
Keep up the good work, we will be back.
