Greyhound, Maidenhead

Lloyds wetherspoons bar. Pumping music great for getting you up for a night out, not so good if you're trying to chat late at night after going to the cinema.
Good selection of beer and ciders and food is good quality for a spoons.
Most of the proper alckis go to The Bear wetherspoons down the road so more of a younger crowd, so a cut above your normal wethers.

The Hobgoblin, Maidenhead

Not anything like it was in its glory days, it is still a reasonable boozer. Had 3 rebellions on when I last went in. Still has the rockers soundtrack (rage against the machine ac/dc etc) and live bands with Dave (the tv channel) usually playing on the tv. Different, or should I say alternative. In a good way.

The Hand and Flowers, Maidenhead

Really nice pub although it's tiny. Full of a slightly pretentious crowd but never had any problems. Beer pricey. Recommended.

BRB The Roof, Maidenhead

This is now called Volition after a terrible time as bar soko which was straight out of Shameless.
Volition seems classy but haven't been there yet.

The Blue River Cafe, Maidenhead

Excellent location and as such expensive. Good selection of drinks and always had great service with the staff professional but not adverse to friendly banter.
Have rebellion and premium beers such as hoegaarden and peroni.

The Bell, Maidenhead

This pub has now had a major refurb and is bar/pizzeria. It is immaculate inside with wood paneling and an open plan kitchen at the front of the bar. Pleased to see they have kept the screens for sport and have a good range of lagers, Greene king golden ipa and a rocking Rudolph guest ale. Looks like they also have a cocktail selection.
Haven't eaten there yet but looks very busy so will be popping in soon. Looks like it has taken off already with suits in after work and more "regular" types still coming in to watch the games. Hopefully with this and bar sport leading the way this is the regeneration of Maidenhead.

Bar 38, Maidenhead

This pub was the Ivory lounge and now (as of 2012) is Bar Sport. It is a brilliant venue with 40 odd screens showing sport and good food fare.
