The Fox, Twickenham

Sorry,
my mistake totally. I was referring to "The Fox" where "Pride" is indeed 3 a pint.

The Fox, Twickenham

Yes it bloody well is, for "London Pride" anyway. Average local price 2.70, so there. Get your facts straight.

The Eel Pie, Twickenham

I've said it before and I'll say it again this is Twickenham's best pub. (although it's a shame about the recently installed and always on Plasma)
It's small amd unpretencious, serves great beer (Badger) at only 2.40 and attracts all sorts of nice people. You get served right away and always with a smile. Well done to Alan, Claire and Hannah (and her "Drying Paint !!!!" signs.)

The Cabbage Patch, Twickenham

I was in here last night(Weds) at about 7pm in the pool bar. No-one behind the bar until an off duty barmaid went and called someone. This has happened to mw several times in the past. The London Pride came at 2.90 a pint and was not great. The pub is generally dirty and depressing and now sports a smoking area which is less than 50% open amd hence illegal. If visiting Twickenham give it a miss.

The London Apprentice, Old Isleworth

The LA's been in decline for some 2 decades now, being a boozer totally lacking in atmosphere, personality or warmth and relying solely on it's historic value. The only good thing you could say was that it was the best in the immediate area, but hey look at the opposition.
Under the new management of Charlie, Osher & staff though it's becoming a fun place again. Let's hope it lasts.

The Eel Pie, Twickenham

I've lived in Twickenham for seven years now and on arrival checked out all the locals before settling on this one. It's a real pub with great beer at 2.35 a pint, although this does go up on Rugby days, and the big screen comes down.
The food's basic but who cares when the atmosphere is great with no Lager louts in sight.
The place has the feel of a country inn with good bar staff and a quiz on Thursday nights.
Don't miss it if you're in Twickenham.
