The Halfway House, Brenchley

What a gem! So glad to have come across this place. Excellent setting, lovely interior, well kept ales and magnificent food. Hardly surprising they were awarded West Kent Camra pub of the year.

Great idead to have a adults only garden.

The Westerham Pale is superb. Looking forward to using this place far more regularly.

The Kentish Hare, Bidborough

This place has become a firm favourite for me in the Tunbridge Wells area. So much so that I even walked for over an hour to get here the other Saturday. It has both a really nice interior and garden. A good selection of well kept ales (Sussex bitter, Harvey's porter and very nice Abbot Ale) and the food is extremely good too. There is a dining room to the rear, a pleasant sort of wine bar to the side and a semi games room on entry, which has pool table, darts and a juke box. However, if you are going for a quiet pint you will not be bothered by the games room in anyway, such is the layout. The landlord is also an extremely friendly gentleman. Highly recommended.

Cassidys, Tunbridge Wells

Went in here the other Saturday evening. Hadn't been in for about two years and was pleasantly surprised. Great to escape from all the hussle and bustle of the loud pubs in town full of schoolkids.

Me and my friends had a scream, the staff were friendly and there was a generasl good crowd!

The Hare, Langton Green

Cracking gastro-pub just outside T/Wells. The food is really a cut above. Fantastic Roasts, alongside some excellent creations. The menu is also changed daily. Nice seating area out back for the summer a good selection of Real ales and possibly the largest selection of malts you will see!!

The Bedford, Tunbridge Wells

It looked really promising when it was being changed from The Bedford to this. To be honest I have only been a handful of times and have not really noticed any chavs there. But nothing seems to happen, it is very bland and aside for using it if a game is on or for a few before bording the train to London, I don't think it serves any real purpose. They do at least serve real ale though!!

Que Pasa, Tunbridge Wells

Quite good for a snack during the day. Good but pricey selection of bottled lagers. No real Ales - but that isn't really the market they are going for!! Friday & Saturday nights cater for the cheesy disco boppers (bless!) where it is like being in a tin of sardines!!!

The Barn, Tunbridge Wells

Pleasant enough place. Good pedigree of people on a Friday & Saturday night (i.e no burberry or fights etc) Food and service in Restaurant is reported to have gone down hill recently which is a shame. Good selection of real ales and a nice ambience about the place.
