Great local pub! Really nice garden in the back for the summer months, and the inside's fantastic for the winter. Highly recommended.

Very nice pub with a good selection of drinks and at reasonable prices. They get different ales each month so it's good for proper beer drinkers. Recently they've got very strict on IDing young looking people so it's not full of 15 year olds - but if you look young make sure you take ID! Seems to be a popular pub with people of all ages - lots of 20 year old and lots of retired chaps alike.

Generally nice atmosphere and good music but a bit pricey - for us students the Skylark just down the road is a more economical alternative!

The Parade Bar, Bath University
It's been done up recently and is trying to look all modern and cool - not really working. Since The Plug is a one minute walk away, you may as well go there. The Parade is only worthwhile on Wednesday and Friday nights when The Plug is used for club nights.
