The Harrow, Aylesbury

Am still trying to like it but unfourtunately getting more unlikable, prices are high and service is low. A shame.

The Queens Head, Aylesbury

After a much gossip and speculation finally opened and doesn't seem worth the wait. The dampest of squibs, a vast improvement on the previous hovel but refurbed in the generic "new/old pub" way. Awful pint of Doombar with nothing else to choose from. Possibly finding its feet but seems to have fallen at the first hurdle.

Rockwoods, Aylesbury

Surprised to read such a poor review as has been excellent on my previous visits, couldn't comment on food but had a lovely pint of Doombar and large wine (3.20 and 4.05), maybe cheaper places but not what I would consider to be "through the roof".

Rockwoods, Aylesbury

Recently named Bucks Herald pub of the year, well deserved I'd say.

The Bricklayers Arms, Aylesbury

Nice pub in a town where there isn't many left, maybe looking a bit ragged but not to the detriment of a pleasent evening.

Hobgoblin, Aylesbury

Never a favourite and never will be on based on recent visit, questionable service, clientele and cleaniness makes it one to avoid.

The Harrow, Aylesbury

A former favourite that has sadly lapsed, would have to agree with other comments.

Rockwoods, Aylesbury

A real diamond in the rough and after a recent refurb even more polished, not in the area that often but would always try and make a visit.
