The Front Bar, Falmouth

10 real ales on handpull now available at all times and with better condition thanks to our newly built dedicated cask ale cellar, with another 4 handpulls being fitted soon so that our real ciders can also be served at a cooler temperature. The focus will still be mainly on Cornish brewers and producers, but with more out of county guests also featuring. Again, thanks to all of our customers, old and new for a fantastic summer season, looking forward to a lovely winter & Christmas with plenty of porters, stouts and winter warmers. See you at the bar, Matt :)

The Cherub Inn, Dartmouth

Yes, yes, yes, & yes. Pretty much ticked all the boxes for my perfect proper pub. Every beer we tried in here was in perfect nick, grumpy in a friendly way bar/cellarman, mixed bag of characterful, interesting and friendly locals, a very good Argentinian Shiraz, and unexpectedly fantastic food. By far the best pub we found in the Dartmouth area, and was responsible for at least two taxi trips back to Bow Bridge, having to leave our cycles here after staying way longer than intended. Will definitely be visiting again.

The Waterman's Arms, Ashprington

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of July, and the Waterman's Arms truly is a fantastically well run country inn, in a beautiful location. Rob, Jainie and every single member of staff are genuinely warm, welcoming, and seem to bend over backwards to accomodate, even down to Rob giving me his daughters bike to save us hiring one for the week. Hospitality in it's truest sense, with the addest bonus that the breakfasts are amazing, the evening meal we had was gorgeous, and the locals are barmy and really friendly, perfect!. The only shame is that there's only Palmer's beers available on handpull, but Sheppy's handpulled cider more than made up for this, especially as we managed to catch the start of this year's mini heat wave. Couldn't recommend this gem of an inn more highly. Thanks guys.
