It has been a while since I was here, it�s looking a little tired, which is a shame as there is a lot of potential in the building. It is shabby, well dirty is closer, which contradicts the owners website �at the Passionate Pub Company we operate a number of quality public houses�, certainly not true here, needs more than TLC and it looks like the last refurbishment was carried out by a troop of monkeys, pay proper tradesmen the next time guys!
The beer is okay but I don�t like sticking to the floor when I walk across it.

Just about the best in town, the beers change on a daily basis (almost). Standard beers, Hobgoblin, London Pride and IPA, plus 4 guest ales and Old Rosie.
Can get busy as there is music most nights.
There is a lunchtime menu, I don't know whats on it as I only drink. Menus for the chinese are available from behind the bar.
