A bit slow for service, the chap serving seemed unfamiliar with the running of a pub??
The food was really good and huge! Recommend the fish & chips.

Lovely little pub but could really do better.
Been here twice now and both times the lack of bar staff has let it down. Unfortunate. I always go to a pub to enjoy my friends company not stand at the bar for 10 minutes every hour or so

Not enough staff on and those that were generally didn't look like they enjoyed working there.
Way over priced, �4.15 for a Peroni is not acceptable. Drinking out of plastic cups is not acceptable if I'm paying �4.15 for the pleasure. I also noticed the plastic cups are washed and reused!

I really despise what they have turned this pub in to. �4.15 for a pint is disgusting

Seemed ok when we first walked in and we wondered why the 3.5 star rating was there, soon found out.
Food was ordered and out came something that was almost completely different. We were told that because we touched it they wouldn't take it back! After 10 minutes the manager came and gave us a refund.
The place is fully seated upstairs with a small dance floor and some decks downstairs. Can you not have the speakers upstairs on a lower volume so you can actually speak to one another!!

The Regent, Balham
Judging by many of the reviews for the Balham Tup, you may (or may not) be pleased to know that tonight the doors will close for the last time.
I for one hope that however reopens the pub, considers a change of staff.
