The Salutation, Hammersmith

Recently refurbished and lost lots of what it used to have including the previous guvnor. The big screen's gone but replaced with another plasma above the bar. Apparently part of the reason for the refurbishment was that they want a 'certian kind of people' to go there now. What they're left with is pretty much snobs who work for the council and have nothing to be snobbish about so come here where they can act like they do. Will probably still get a lot of people in for big football games but other than that gone downhill.

The Moon Under Water, Leicester Square

Much too crowded even by the standards of central London to have a decent drink, probably best avoided.

The Crescent, Mornington Crescent

Not bad. I've only been the once before a Babyshambles gig at Koko the other Friday but it seemed like a good place to go before heading to the venue with a good atmosphere.

The Queens Tavern, Shepherds Bush

It's a complete dive, even around here there are better places to drink.

The Drayton Court, West Ealing

There's nowhere better to drink than here.
