The Grand Junction Arms, Harlesden
Being located closed to factories and offices means that the pub has a very mixed clientele and is, thankfully, a million miles away from a gastropub. Had a very nice homemade bacon cheeseburger, washed down by a well-kept pint of Youngs London Gold.
On the minus side; theres a surfeit of sofas and high chairs/tables, at the expense of proper tables and chairs, and the jukebox kept playing ten seconds of a song before skipping to something else; making it the pub equivalent of an irritating kid at the back of the bus, fiddling with their phone.

Nice pub, good ales. Popped in for a pint while changing trains, wanted to come back the following day but it was shut due to the EDL march...and I thought they were trying to protect the english way of life ;-)

Large McMullen's pub with full menu and large outside seating area. 30 seconds from Welwyn North which was even better as they had a special offer on Mc Mullen's Cask at 2 a pint.

This is the shop attached to the Railway Station, as blackrat said no booze here!

Excellent pub, they have their own brewery (Pot Belly) several guest ales and unusually for a venue that has live music working toilets/soap/water!

The The Fen, Fenchurch St station
I only use this place when the Goose is shut (which it does on a Saturday and Sunday!) you can tell it's operated by the same company who do overpriced baguettes and microwaveable burgers especially when they try and do the McDonald's thing and ask "did you want any nuts or crisps?" In all fairness the beer's been good the times I've visited although it should sometimes come with nuts, sauce and a flake!

The Charles Dickens, Southwark
I know what earlier correspondents meant about the blaring music,, sadly it seems to be a bit of a trait in some Southwark pubs. that said, I like the place, a wide selection of guest ales available, it's just a shame I only go here on my way between leaving work and crossing the river!

Not as cosy as I could imagine (in fact I was convinced someone'd try and sell me bootleg sportswear/tabacco/DVDs etc it had that kind of vibe) although there were a couple of real ales on.

Nice pub, a lot quieter at lunchtimes and 17 years ago the scene of the great dalek battle (see Rememberance Of The Daleks if you don't believe me!)

Having moved to the area and walking past every morning I thought I'd landed on my feet, from the window I could see a cosy pub, open planned but with screens next to the seats, with front bar, lounge to the left (dining area just to the back) and games room to the right.
Going in was a different matter, the locals must have known how much I like An American Wearwolf In London as they recreated the Slaughtered Lamb scene sadly missing out shouting "keep to the roads!" Out of 3 handpumps only one worked and that cobntained Bass which was so gopping (it had essence of vinegar in it!) in a more welcoming pub I would've taken it back, instead I did a runner!

Lovely pub, good atmosphere! Was a bit wary as it's a chain but nicely layed out, three real ales on a hand pump and very reasonably price well prepared (i.e the medium steak was medium!) food.

The Maltings, York
Had a very enjoyable lunchtime in the Maltings. Top class ale and the boozy steak pie (which is very boozy) was bloody gorgeous.
