This is quite simply my favourite pub in the world. The review that said - "This is what a pub should be!" - has hit the nail right on the head. Superb in every respect. Brilliantly old school, traditional english pub, pubs do not get better than this. Location, food, drinks, staff, locals, atmosphere all 10/10. Truly magical.

The Churchill Arms, Kensington
The 2nd best pub in the country. Massively old school. Great thai food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. It is a pleasure to go here, keep up the good work.

Used to be a good little pub to watch rugby in but has changed massively it seems. Went there a month ago and it was full of what looked like characters from 'the only way is essex'. I counted at least 10 grown men wearing jewellery. It's a shame because it used to have character, now the proletariat masses have runied it and it is the same as 90% of other places.

I don't usually bother posting reviews, but I felt compelled to in this instance because of the comment from 2 April 2011 stating the place is full of "aggressive pikies". This is a rugby pub. Suggest you look up the definition of "pikies". I just moved to colliers wood 1 month ago and I have been to this pub several times since then. Thank god for this pub because I can't find another decent one in the area. Pubs that show rugby seem to be the exception and this one has multiple screens (even one outside next to the BBQ), plenty of seating and a friendly crowd of regulars. Drinks were fine, food was better than average and staff were friendly. I give this pub 10/10. For the people who rate the pub so badly, I have no idea what you are looking for in a pub, suggest you go to wine bars instead.

The Lord Nelson, Holloway Road
I am not a prude but this is the worst pub in the world. It is like they are trying to make it awful. It stinks, it's expensive, the beer is awful and the locals stare at you and attempt to look menacing (which I actually quite like but I can understand if others don't).
