The Buckingham Arms, Shoreham by Sea

Awful pub.

I would honestly say that this is the one of the most unfriendly pubs in the UK.

Forget it if you are not a local.

I had the mis-fortune of popping whilst changing trains, and the bar man looked at me and turned his back and walked round the other side of the bar.

I am in my 40's and work in the City of London as a banker, therefore I was dressed appropriately, not tattoos or a hoodie or something like that.

Avoid this unless you like being treated like a criminal.

Orange Square, Haywards Heath

This place is so pretentious!

I mean really, they need to get over theirselves.

Bad beer and very very expensive. Around GBP 3.70 a pint. Small Glass of Wine around GBP 4.80

The Crabtree Inn, Shoreham by Sea

Never anyone in there.

Perhaps this is why there are always Private Functions in both bars at the weekends and thus not open to the public.

Its around 3.40 - 3.50 a pint!

Yates's, Brighton

Absolute hell hole.

Rude staff who cannot speak English.

Very dodgy people go in here.

I always felt like something was going to "kick off".

Do not go in here.

The Railway Bell, Brighton

Very much a locals pub, not very friendly.

Grand Central, Brighton

Dark and dinghy and resemble a student bar.

The Vintners Parrot, Worthing

This pub looks fairly impressive from the outside, however this is spoilt when you go inside and encounter the staff!

I will not be returning.

Sir Timothy Shelley, Worthing

A good Wetherspoons and to be honest, one of the better pubs in Worthing.

Friendly staff and great prices on food and drink.

Shakespiers, do you have a problem with the Irish Community?

The White Horse, Steyning

Very very very rude staff.

Extremely expensive and all there food is not locally sourced, it is from the Co-Op on the high street.

Trust me on the food, I know someone who used to work there.

The Chequer Inn, Steyning

Rude staff and very very expensive.

The Star, Haywards Heath

Greene King have seriously shot themselves in the foot here, and ruined this pub in spectacular style.

I used to go in here every lunchtime and it would be busy on a regular basis, I would say at least 25-35 people pub and garden combined.

Since the rufurb, the prices have SHOT up, around 30p a pint approx and there are no customers. These days if you pop in there at lunchtime, you are likely 1 of around 2 or 3 other people.

I am glad that this has'nt worked for Greene King, greedy bastards.

There was nothing wrong with the pub prior to the refurd, it was a proper pub.

Why did'nt they ask the regulars if they thought anything needed changing.

There is only so long you can stay open when you are clearly making a loss Greene King.

P.S. The new Landlady could seriously do with going on a course on Customer Service.

The Burrell Arms, Haywards Heath

I bet the prices have shot up like The Star on the Broadway.

When walking to the train station, I do not see the droves of people sitting outside anymore.

Have they gone and buggered it all up by increasing the prices and not allowing the trademen in?

Not sure what it is like now, but before the refurb it was a very hostile place, only for the "Locals".
