A crying shame. Just found out on my latest crawl that this pub (which used to be good) is actually run by the Belushis outfit. Say no more!! An absolute disaster. Refer to my original review below. Hopefully it may one day, if sold on, get back to being a good gents bar and not just a gents toilet.

The days of gentlemen coming here have long gone. Its run by a bunch of lazy rude bleery eyed wasters. The decor is shabby and the beer undrinkable. A good bar gone bad in the hands of complete arseholes. Where have the days of the bar manager gone? There is enough shit-holes in the city centre and unfortunately this kind of place just drives you into All-Bar-One's.

This is a crying shame. The building could be so attractive. It has been left to degrade itself to such an extent this can only be poor poor management or an owner that could not care less. The outside of the building puts to shame what could be a beautiful building and it really needs the daily more impotent Greenwich Council of Charlton to insist its kept up to a standard befitting the UK. This kind of decay and rot is endemic of this country today. All concerned should be ashamed of themselves and go live in a rubbish tip.

Some foul work is at play!! My review of this dirty, dire and grim high street bar has been removed. I take my pubs and clubs very seriously and consider my opinions valid. Therefore note - this pub is carp.
