This part of the a chain now - sadly. It used to be a nice place to get good old fashioned meals but it now seems to serve alot of dishes with chips whic are nice but not anything special food wise. But it is nice old fashioned pub with nice staff and worth a visit. They do alot of lunchtime specials.

Had a xmas meal here and don't know if it was a one off but the food was very average and what put me off was the anaemic looking susages (think they used the microwave..) and stffing balls - yuk. Wasn't the greatest meal I have had. Sorry I won't be returning to eat again but it is a nice location and old pub woudl be Ok for a summers drink so would go for a drink. Staff seemed nice too.

This is a nice pub - very good for summer evenings too. Plenty of outside seating - fenced off area for the kids. Nice food - good service. Good resturant area inside. Good staff too -makes all the difference.

Have been to this pub several times now. Each time the staff are very good - excellent service. Food is good and they do set menus. Had Xmas meal here which was good they were busy but the service was really effecient. Recommned. Nice location and good parking too.

Nice pub it was renovated last year. Nice food and staff - worth a visit.
