The Charles Dickens, Broadstairs

Probably find for cheap food and fizzy lager but the ale was rubbish and pints were short. Barman had some mates in and couldn't be bothered with others even though it

Wrotham Arms, Broadstairs

Highly recommended. A strong local crowd but if you make the effort so will they. Beer very good too.

Neptunes Hall, Broadstairs

I'm partial to SN beers and the best pint in Broadstairs is here. It's a pub. Staff are friendly and locals too if you stay for a second.

The Volunteer Riflemans Arms, Bath

Good number of locals make this a lively place. All are welcome by staff and customers alike. No chance of staying anonymous here.

The Coeur de Lion, Bath

Nice little bar downstairs. Upstairs room a bit disappointing considering the character downstairs. Food OK for a pub. Ales I tried very good.

The Raven, Bath

Very good food. Downstairs is a mix of tourists and locals with excellent real ales. Larger room upstairs for eating. A nice pub.

The Saracens Head, Bath

The place stinks (literally). It needs a major clean. The ale is awful (I left most of it) and being there made me feel physically sick. Go anywhere else.

The Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak

Excellent pub. Great range of beers. Decent mix of people. Their sign says Beer, Cider, Meat. And the fayre is pork pies, scotch eggs, ham/cheese rolls. Be wary though, the food does run out!

Louisa Bay, Broadstairs

Closed and turned into flats!

The Duke of York, Fitzrovia

Great, old fashioned sort of pub. One of the best in the area. Occasionally you have to put up with the fools (aka Media types) that find their way in. Fortunately they never stay long...

Fitzroy Tavern, Fitzrovia

Fine if you've got the patience. Ok when it's quiet but never enough staff and the beer must be piped down from Yorkshire the speed it comes out of the pumps.

THE CAMBRIA, CAMBERWELL

Not had a bad pint of ale yet. The food, you get what you pay for. It's not as expensive as some of the 'Gastro' pubs in the area and always VERY tasty. Staff always friendly in spite of some of the numpties that go in.

John Wallace Linton, Newport

Like most Whetherspoons a cross between a retirement home and a day care centre. They may have a range of ales but they're awful and I could microwave the food better myself at home

The Castle, Camberwell

Nice place. Comfortable environment. Staff attentive but not over the top. Food selection a different to the usual.

The Phoenix, Denmark Hill

Nice place. Nice environment. Staff attentive but not over the top. Nice selection of beers and wines to go with the lagers. Food pretty good too.

The Kildonan Hotel, Kildonan

Experience of this pub really depends on who's working that night. Some of the staff really don't care and want to close asap. We had a pool tournament with the pub team and even they commented on it. The food is defrosted and fried/microwaved well.

Fitzroy Tavern, Fitzrovia

Why are there never enough staff on when it's always so busy. Go somewhere else if you want a few beers on a Friday night

The Green Man and French Horn, Covent Garden

Great beer. DON'T EAT THE FOOD. It's dire

The Woodstock, Bond Street

The beer was average and the food disgusting. I'm never going to eat at a T&JB's pub again ever.
