The Limeburners Inn, Offton

A great pub. Under new management now, but continuing the "traditions" of the old ways. Decent beer, friendly staff and locals. Music gigs once a month, new regular Karaoke sessions, a quiz night on the first Thursday in every month, and a Busker's Evening every Sunday. Lots of new ideas for the future. Pleasant garden and smoking area, and a fish 'n' chip shop attached! What more could one want? Well recommended.

The Coopers Arms, Rochester

Nice pub, although the staff weren't THAT talkative. Very good pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord's Bitter. Cosy bar, with a somewhat disconcerting mannequin of a mok in a glass case in the wall...something to do with a monk was was supposedly walled-up many years ago. Recommended.

Hawthorns Hotel, Bar and Restaurant, Glastonbury

Yes, the food was good, but it's not really a drinking pub. The Open Mic night was ok (just like most other Open Mic nights in other pubs).

The Who'd A Thought It, Glastonbury

Not bad grub, but they seemed to want to close early when I was there...I mean, at about 10pm. Went to the King William instead!!

The King William Inn, Glastonbury

Great pub with a really friendly staff and landlady. Cats, too! saw a good band there as well. Beer is good and reasonably proced. Well worth a visit.
