My wife, whom I mentioned earlier is sad at the news that cherry pie and ice cream has been taken off the menu. I am unpeturbed though and still rate this the best pub in Southwold.

Lovely place to sit and have a cosy pint in the afternoon, watching the waves crash around. It's also nice to call in for a coke in the morning before setting off on our adventures.

It's just perfect, the best beer, the best food, close to Nutters and on the sea front. Easily the best pub in Southwold. The Ploughpersons are fantastic and the Cherry Pie and ice cream worth traveling all the way from Sheffield for.

Blue Bell Inn, Hackenthorpe
Closed again. Made the headlines many times over last few years, all for the wrong reasons. Needs to be bought by Hungry Horse or Wetherspoons. Either that or closed and turned into a restaurant, like The Old Harrow has.
