Oh Dear !
Nice venue spoiled by lack of attention to detail
And quality
You would expect more from Britains oldest brewery.
The ale usually served by enthusiastic underpaid trainees
could be better if the taste of cleaning fluid wasn't there
Food, when you can find somewhere to sit to eat it
is regular 3663/Brakes fayre. Sometimes it's actually hot
Even the salads!

Blindingly good food. Excellent beer. Quiz evenings and a nice family run pub.
Recommend the Sunday Lunches. More than enough to eat in smoke free surroundings.
Worth seeking out and trying the real ales especially on a sunny day before a Sunday lunch

The Westcourt Arms, Gillingham
Superb pub, full of life and a lively bar staff.
Excellent licensee who's got a proper sense of humour and a lovely cheeky laugh.
Proper beer, good atmosphere and welcoming.

This place has Sadly let down the brewery.
Lack lustre service. Beer tasting of pipe cleaner
Food mediocre at near London prices
Seems there's never many staff there for long and
given the turnover i'm unsurprised that consistent
quality is rife
Avoid if you value your insides !
