De Hems, Soho

Good selection of Belgian beers. Not cheap though.
Thought the food was a bit bland & greasy but a dutch bloke I know tells me it's meant to be like that.

The Cricketers Arms, Tangley

Excellent country pub. Wallop ale was very good and so was the price.
Nice ploughmans as well. Shame you need to drive to get here.

Not as good as it used to be before Duncan left for Norfolk but still a unique little pub.Excellent selection of beers. Woman behind the bar was a bit miserable.

Sweeney and Todd, Reading

The Plough, Tilehurst

Pub is full of regulars. They may look a little rough but are quite friendly. The Broadside wasn't bad. The place has got a certain charm.

Auberge, Waterloo

Bit of a strange pub, especially the roof terrace.Probably a better atmosphere when it's busy. The rude French staff have gone now & the ladies behind the bar could not be more pleasant.Good selection of Belgian beers.

The Poplar Farm Inn, Andover

Used to be a really good pub back in the 70s. Just a fairly poor restaurant now. Great building, superb location but no atmosphere & no staff.Food was terrible.
