after all that ranting i didn't say what i thought of the place! it's nothing special but good enough for a quick drink before moving on. last time i was there they wouldn't accept a scottish �20!... their loss! got more for my money across the road anyway!

while it's not justified that Rich66 label anonymous comments as shite, he has a point in that there isn't any way of knowing which anonymous person is which! for all anyone else knows it could be the one person with MPD!
also, if there are anonymous reviews giving either high praise or damning put downs, it's hard not to think that the person leaving the comment has some sort of affiliation to either the subject pub or a rival establishment!

one of my regular pubs when i'm out with my mates. brilliant for a cheap, quiet drink while playing a few games of pool! has to be said though that its too hot in there! sort that out and i'll be able to bare being there for a bit longer!

never had any problems here but have never had a good time either really! my mate got his coat stolen here tho!

probably the best wetherspoons i've been to too! don't really go there all that often but its not because i don't like the place! staff are friendly and the drinks are all cheap (expected, i know) and of a good standard

decent enough for a drink but not for a night. half price on mondays for the students works out well on the way to one of the clubs!

i've been in here on a few thursday nights recently... the bouncers seemed okay; had a bit of a chat with them. but didnt like the place. music was loud, it was too hot, EVERY urinal was blocked and full to the brim while the drunk chavs kept using them! even though it was busy, after getting to the bar i thought i'd be served withing a few mins given the 5 barstaff on duty; no such luck. i was overlooked on a number of occasions even after being told i was next. could be a good pub... but isnt

was one of the first pubs i actually went to! didn't really like it but all my mates went (yes, we were under age). been back recently and it seems to have changed slightly for the better, but they now charge for the bands where they never used to. cheap enough drinks

The Shepherd and Flock, Shepherds Bush
drink here whenever i go to shepherds bush. friendly staff, cheap enough drinks. the customers don't mind a chat! despite aforementioned barred people from o'donoghues (i've never been there so i can't comment) it's not very often i see new faces in there (i have been more recently though) and it's even less often that i see trouble in there! when there has been trouble it's been caused by non-regulars who are swiftly barred. it is very smokey
