A great pub to be drunk in! Just far enough away from town to avoid most of the chav teen types; so pretty much a pub full of regulars. A lot of work has gone into improving this place with great success. The food is good, the service is excellent and (most) of the bands are fantastic. Keep up the good work.

A great friendly pub; much improved from times of old. Went the other week for the karaoke X-Factor type final and the atmosphere was brilliant. Plenty of drunk people but not even a hint of trouble. Top landlady too.......

People know what they go here for..... The beer really is a bit dire and the toilets are normally covered in sick, but hey, that's the effects of booze for ya. Most people seem to enjoy themselves and it's always busy. Must be doing something right.
