The Rising Sun, Shackerstone

Had a really nice evening here on a canal trip a few years back, have yet to go back but it's a bit far out by road for me. But based on my last experience here I'd be making a beeline for the place on my next canal trip up the ashby.

The Greyhound Inn, Longford

I visited here on a canal trip a few years back and when I've had the chance revisited it a few time since via road. One of my favourite pubs on the canal network, an absolute gem... Great beer, great food, great atmosphere and if your bed is close by on the cut then you just can't go wrong...!!!!

Looking forward to my next visit

Kelly's, Leamington Spa

Alas KELLYS was great and now it's none existent - it is now a lap dancing club..!?!?
It's last year or two faltered with slightly off, then bad and very bad management..
Here's to KELLYS in it's hay day...chink.. May it be fondly remembered..!!!

The Somerville Arms, Leamington Spa

A Grand Pub, nice atmosphere, good entertainment when it's on. Nicely kept ales and a good variety of them as well. If I'm in this neck of the woods I always try to detour into the bar and usually succeed. The snug is probably the best one in Leamington!!
The most consistent pub I know of :)

The Townhouse, Leamington Spa

This is a grand little pub in the backstreets, nice staff, pleasant atmosphere and good, well kept ales.
Keep up the good work...!!

The Folly, Napton on the Hil

I went to the Folly at the weekend and had a sunday roast after a walk in Lower Shuckburgh - it was fabulous, along with a nice pud, good price and well kept real ales. I arrived at 3 and left quite a few hours later than planned..! (the DIY jobs can wait a while!)
