The Albion Taverna, Faversham

Just read the previous reviews ( this is BEER IN THE EVENING) so let's do just that.
Sheps all the way. Average, nothing more. Masterbrew tired. But lovely surroundings and ambience. No complaints. But not really a pub anymore!

The Chimney Boy, Faversham

It's a shame when people fail. But good luck to them in the future.
New people going in and experience a plenty. Well we shall see. Will do good food that goes without saying. But what a job they have in front of them and having to sell Sheps everything and deal with the clientele that currently resides!!! Good luck with that!!!!!
Seriously, The Chimney needs sweeping!!!

Down under at the moment, but would like to wish the new owners Good Luck in their venture.

Leading Light, Faversham

Absolutely dreadful !! Beer is not at all bad, but this place is a boil that needs lancing. Would not return if it was the last pub in town apart from to have an early morning breakfast which is pretty dammed good.

The Old Wine Vaults, Faversham

Great beer, great pub, great food. Now the Vaults Cask and Kitchen. Getting better all the time!

The Park Tavern, Faversham

Can't understand why this is still in here.....It's now a small supermarket!

The Crown and Anchor, Faversham

Best pint of Sheps anywhere. Les is a true Innkeeper and many could learn from this man.

The Swan and Harlequin, Faversham

A pub that has moved on in my opinion. Mark has tried hard to return the pub to a place where a discerning drinker can get a good pint. This has been largely achieved, but the previous reviewer will and can find better ales in Faversham (Elephant, Vaults, Phoenix) Tragically now it looks like this will change into something other than a pub and another drinking hole will be lost. But a tremendous well done to the team at The S&H, from one person that really appreciates how difficult it can be to change things around!

The Sun, Faversham

Nice welcome from Barman( Tad I think). Fire and comfort lovely! Beer, not as good as the price tag would imply!! Better Shep's available (Bear, Crown and Anchor, Alma) in my humble opinion. Has the potential to be really good, but to cliquy by far and the general behaviour of some of the so called clientele left a lot to be desired. If people want to shout and swear like they are at a football match.......GO TO A FOOTBALL MATCH.

The Phoenix Tavern, Faversham

Pub, good, beer on this occasion mediocre! Timothy Taylor's tired last of the tub I would say. Lighthouse better, but not bright but good flavour (I drink with my taste buds not so much my eyes). Average array of Ales, nothing that would make me change direction, but certainly better than a lot in the area.

Not pub of the year this year. Well, times change. Beer always good quality. But a pub is not just about beer.

The Bear Inn, Faversham

Smashing old pub. Quality of beer is good (but unfortunately Sheps) Not my favourite brew. But a nice place!
