Great pub, Dave the landlord has done so much to promote live music in the town both in this pub and the 12 Bar, nice atmosphere, nice crowd of locals, friendly bar staff,

The Bell was a regular haunt for me in the late 80s/early 90s, used to be a real spit and sawdust pub, great jukebox, populated by bikers, metal fans and punks, I wept when it turned into the awful Fusion bar in the mid 90s, after a lot of rumours it was taken over last Autumn and has become a pub again, whilst it will never be the same as it was before It's nice to have it back

A real national treasure, proper old school pub, firm committment to live music, friendly clientelle, i used to drink in here as an 18 year old back in the early 90s before moving to Oxford, returned back to Swindon a few years back and was delighted to see it was still there, one of my favourite pubs in Swindon if not the UK

Riff's Bar, Swindon
A bit remote for those of us who live more central to Swindon but more than worth the journey, real community pub, run by a smashing bloke called Andy, I'm a lager drinker so can't really comment on the ale on sale but I do like the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great to play as a musician,
