The Half Moon, Durham

Superb pub in the centre of town. Beer always top quality and service top notch. This is the way pubs used to be!

Number 22 Alehouse and Canteen, Darlington

Not a local. But I've always been made welcome. Beer excellent and a comfortable place to take a girlfriend.

The Cross Keys, Covent Garden

A great pub away from the general mayhem of Covent Garden. Beer good. Ambience good. And you can talk without shouting.

The Shovels, Blackpool

Agree with all the previous reviews. The beer festival is the best non-CAMRA in the for miles around and well worth a visit, (or 2 or 3!).

The Saddle Inn, Blackpool

Not one of the best, THE BEST real ale pub in Blackpool Town. The only competition is the Shovels, (equally good), which is a few miles to the South on the way to St. Annes.

The Litten Tree, Blackpool

Fancy bar with average house beer.

The Seven Stars, Falmouth

Want a good, quiet pint in a totally unspoilt pub? No mobile 'phone noise? No loud teenage customers on alcopops? This is your place!!!

The Auctioneer, Blackpool

Poorest Weatherspoons in the Area. Service is hopeless and beer often not available despite pumps being in view.

The Dove Inn, Hammersmith

Outstanding! What a find in a place known for the flyover and the Palais!!

The Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell

Extremely disappointing pub. After a 1/2 hour trip and being promised the Earth, I couldn't wait to leave!
