The Woodman, Ide Hill

Great pub, loads of parking, nice beer garden. VERY friendly management and staff.

Food is great and every bit as good as you would expect from a pub. It is not a top restaurant, people should remember this. Some reviewers have slated it, well they obviosly are deluded.

I live some 5 miles from the woodman and I think it's worth spending 20-00 on taxis to get there and back for a good evening out.

The Plume of Feathers, Greenwich

A real gem. A pub like pubs used to be in the good old days. Lovely environment, clean, friendly. One of the pubs everybody should enjoy.

The Pelton Arms, Greenwich

Such a great establishment.
Hands down one of the best pubs in London.
Brilliant live music. If you are lucky you may even spot the odd celeb on stage or in the audience.

Great Beer, Great Food, friendly polite staff.

If you have not yet been to the Pelton, do it.

The Vigo Inn, Vigo

If you are a music lover this is the pub for you. The Vigo Inn stages live music 5 days a week. The pub is closed on monday and tuesdays which is a shame as they would then be staging music seven days a week.
There is a great Blues Jam hosted by established local musician Paul Cook every wednesday which attracts musicians from far and wide, it is unbeleivable how many great musos take part on wednesdays. These nights are even listed in Blues in Britain magazine.
Good selection of beers and ales.
Very limited food menu, which is a shame.
Friendly bar staff.
The Vigo even offers free camping, so if you are in the mood for a heavy session, get that tent up outside.

The Black Horse and Hoodens, Borough Green

Awful establishment. Full of youngsters bang out of their minds on drugs. I am surprised the toilet door doesn't fall off of it's hinges.
The toilet is busy as a bee's nest.
