The Cow, Parkstone

A roomy pub with cowskin covered poofs and sofas. Seems like there is not enough seating most evenings.

This pub used to be called The Parkstone Hotel and has been totally transformed from the kind of pub most people were afraid to go into into a classic but modern pub serving real ales and good food.

The Bricklayers Arms, Poole

Good friendly local with several ales (Hop Back Summer Lightning, Abbot Ale, Ringwood Best and Ringwood Fortyniner). Nice surprisingly large back garden.

Packed on Friday and Saturday evenings. Get their early or you'll have to stand!

The Bermuda Triangle, Parkstone

One of the few pubs in Poole with a decent range of regularly changing ales.

A decent crusty old buffers pub with the occasional young face at the weekend.

Not large so often packed out.

The Sandacres Free House, Sandbanks

Extremely rude and unfriendly staff who can barely manage to glance up at you when you order a drink. If you are really lucky you might get a grudging "yes mate" out of them. Rudeness becomes even worse at closing time.

Ales are a bit variable here, and some of the pub furniture is in bad need of replacement.

A pub with great potential due to it's location, but potential which will not be realised with the current attitude of the management.
