The Marlborough Head, Marble Arch
Went to this pub recently because my girlfriend wanted to go there. She should've listened to me and we should have gone to the Devonshire Arms as I recommended! Dreadful barstaff who: 1. Kept adding their own drinks to our bar tab (not once, twice but three times!!) 2. Didn't understand a word we said to them and gave us the wrong drinks on several occassions 3. Had no idea how to pour a decent pint.
Will not be returning!

The service here is reasonable, except for the short greek bloke who looked a little lost in the crowd.

" I've been a regular in the Western for many years now and I must say the service I recieved last night was a complete and utter shambles! Nothing wrong with my bitter or my dinner, its just the staffs attitude to work is diabolical! Members of staff sitting on the back of the bar, having a conversation with their friends when there was empty glasses and dirty plates needing to be collected, playing infantile tricks on one another (throwing liquid over one another)and altogether lousy service from all but two of the staff. I hope when the new landlady comes she gets rid of these "children" and gets some staff who actually want to work for their money ! "
I actually work in The Great Western so I can't say too much about the above statement. Indeed, I was working that night so hopefully I was one of the two members of staff who gave you satisfactory service. I can only apologize to you on behalf of The Great Western and hope that this one bad night won't turn you away from our pub.
