Must agree with Romanique, on my visits there on friday and saturday night I found myself agreeing with all the comments made, and will definately be returning with friends.

Popped in recently for lunch, but didn't bother to eat as have seen better menus at a road-side cafe, although excellent selection of real ales. Will be returning again for a beer, but unfortunately won't be taking anyone to eat.

After My most recent visit, unfortunately the real ales have not been kept very well, and I decided not to eat after going outside for a cigarette and spotting the rat runs in the car park.
Shan't be returning again.

Tried the Sunday roast this weekend, nice fresh food, destroyed by reheating in a microwave, leaving it tasteless and bland.

Also lots of leafy salads, on oversized plates, to make small portions look big.

Greasy food, Beer close to expiring... over all not very enjoyable. Language and children out of control.

The Bell, Pitstone
Just moved back to the area, tried all the pubs, Nice to see this one's been cleaned up from the dump that it was.
New Landlord, very friendly and trying various real ales to attract beer drinkers.
Also now has sky tv showing rugby and football.
Will be returning with friends.
