The George and Dragon, Altrincham

Operating as a hotel too so their is usually no rush to push you out the door after closing. You may see a pile of free daily newspapers to read too!

Bay Malton, Dunham Massey

A warm welcome, a tastefully furnished and comfortable pub with large garden. Owned by chinese who are friendly and welcoming - food offered is english chinese and thai. The only thing needed is some new benches outside!

The Vine, Dunham Massey

Cheap, probably the best prices in town, Samuel Smiths bitter as of August 2008 is 1.56 a pint and a decent pint too. The pub has the character of a bygone era (similar to the Romper, old wilmslow road nr Manchester Airport before it was lovingly commercially trashed)it is many frequented by locals or visitors that drive due to its remote location, although their is a warm welcome to all. Thier is a large car park and a good size garden with 4 rooms and plenty of seating/tables to go around even on a busy evening. Beware this pub still closes at 10.30pm on a sunday and bank holidays.
