A note to all you anonymous chavs trying to defend the utter crapness of the toad.
It is finished, the reason it is finished is because it is sh*te.
Be honest and ask yourselves, if it was anything other than sh*te why would it be closing...?

Should be renamed the Aussies Retreat. Great food & beer. Good place for an all day session as long as you can provide your own entertainment.

Only place worth visiting in Egham, although Aaron is spot on with some of the barmaids.
There is a sanctuary of sloths somewhere in Surrey that must surely be missing a few residents.

Scruffy place but the best in Staines to watch the footie.
The Thai food served is great.

A pity really but this place is a rip off.
Might be reportedly the oldest pub in Staines or Surrey or something but that shouldn't allow them to charge so much for a pint.
Especially when the roof is covered in dog's leads.

Walk in here and you expect to be warned off by Brian Glover.
Guinness book of records should visit here to check out the TV's, have to be the smallest ever.
Good beer garden for Summer drinking and as long as you avoid a Full Moon evening the beer is ok too.

if you go downstairs it's quite big??
decent place to chillout and being a CFZ makes it even more appealing.
no evidence of burberry, hackett or white slip ons can be found here yet.

It's Wetherspoon's, what do you expect. If you are still there at chucking out time then you need to get a life and go somewhere better like Baroosh or Cocco for a late beer.
Is an ok place to have a few beers before moving on, or on Sunday's just to avoid being dragged around the shops.

this place ranks highly, no sorry this place is just rank....
the front part of the bar does smell of sick. Only worth a visit if the Hobgoblin is not showing the footie match you want to see.
on Saturday's they have a free Burberry fashion show.

Cheekies is a good name for this place because inside cheekies you can find plenty of arseholes.
Should become a soup kitchen, for future Charvers to spend their Giro..

Good location but over priced for any drink that is worth consuming. The barstaff also get naggy when you alter the new velcro decor. What is the point....
