The Thomas Cubitt, Belgravia

This really shouldnt be on this site, it is without a shadow of a doubt, a restaurent. Every inch of space is taken for tables for dining, the bar area is cramped and always full. The food is pretty decent but not deserving of the prices, belgravia or not. I had pint of adnams and it wasnt great, was a bit sad looking to be honest. Its a great place to take a women and impress her, but not a pub. not a place to meet for a drink.

The Orange Brewery, Belgravia

I must have missed something, as whatever a previous poster states, this place certainly did not offer an inspired choice of ale when I visited... Maybe its finding its feet, we shall see.

The Gardeners Arms, Loughton

I have visited this pub more than once and my most recent visit was comparible to all of my ealier ones... Its a pretty pub, it attracts a nice crowd of people and has probebly the nicest ambience of any of any of the pubs in the area, but the beer isnt great, its not terrible, but is rarely very good, which is a shame, as the pub could be exceptional.

The Old Star, Westminster

Dont think i would visit here again even if i was just detrained at St James accross the road, really has nothing at all going for it. Staff were not in the least friendly, the beer was hit and miss and the general ambience is not very nice.

The Dover Castle, Marylebone

I can see why this place gets such rave reviews, its a proper pub and its very cheap and the staff where fairly friendly. I personally dont like sam smiths beers but i wont let that detract my feeling that this is a gem of place so close to the hellish oxford circus.

Windsor Castle, Marylebone

A very interesting place, its difficult not to like this place, however it isnt nearly as good as it was once upon a time, that said, it still retains a charm and the ale isnt badly kept. I will always revisit this pub as i have many fond memories of yesteryear.

The Iron Duke, Mayfair

A fairly pleasent small Fullers house, My ESB was in tip top condition. If i worked close by i would deffinately make use of it, but hard to suggest it is worth a detour.

The Only Running Footman, Mayfair

What a tired shoddy establishment, all the more surprising that it is in Mayfair

The Audley, Mayfair

Soul less tourist trap which does however serve a decent selection of ales which are sometimes in good condition, but not always.

Back Door / Burlington Arms, Mayfair

I Visited early afternoon and it wasnt so busy and i quite liked it, they had on Sam Brookes Junction which i was eager to try and i liked it. Decent pub, i didnt think it was tottally over priced for Mayfair.
