Closed since October 2009. Another Enterprise Inns success story. Not. 3 Tenants in under 2 years - a great local pub with fantastic food joins the increasing list of pubco fatalities. Enterprise - sell it !

This pub is in Mellor, not Stockport ! Beautiful old Inn with mullioned windows and stone flagged floors. Excellent food and a great range of guest ales. Also nice wine list. However Impending change on the horizon with a long list of independent caring landlords rumoured to be replaced by the monolithic Enterprise Inns. This could only be a retrograde step. Visit it now whille you can.
