It used to be great years ago....
Now the attitude of the young, fashionable men behind the bar is bigger than a Saudi Prince's attitude.
Service is indifferent.
You get served if and only they feel like it and have seen people standing at the empty bar totally ignored.
Plenty of pubs in the area happy to take my money.....

Its not bad at all....weekends can be hectic....full of screaming children, show offs and w"@&*s wearing shorts and flip flops in almost freezing temperatures!
Clean, polite staff and good beer!

Not too bad and not brilliant either.
Some of the staff can be friendly when in a good mood...food is just ok...
Avoid Sundays, its packed with pseudo posh families, screaming children, prams and annoying, young and show offy estate agents celebrating their sunday off...
Not bad during the early afternoons during the week.

To me, The Clarence is NOT a pub!
Its a cafe for mothers with prams and screaming children...
the colours are bright, there are only stools...a kinda "glorified" pizza place that serves beer too.

wonderful, clean, civilised gastropub!
Food was great and service efficient and friendly! (and dog friendly too...)

Very friendly, quiet and clean !
And they're dog friendly too which is always good!
I had a good time after a long walk at the Common. No screaming kids, no annoying punters!

Its a very friendly and clean pub. Never had any probems with staff of punters.

The White Horse, Parsons Green
Great pub ! fantastic food and great beers and ales!
And they are dog friendly too which is always a plus!

one of the few traditional gay pubs left in London!
most annoying thing though is the loud italian tourists sitting outside screaming while you try to relax with a pint!

if you go early and during the week its decent and friendly, attracting locals and rugby crowds!
lots of aussies, south africans, etc.
I've been on Friday night once and will never go back though....managed to stay only 10 minutes!
Food is a hit and miss !

food is always good and service very fast and efficient!
Yes, it can be pricey sometimes but its clean, the crowds nice and polite and they are dog friendly!
I prefer it to any other chav pub in the area!

This is the WORST pub in Central London!
I was meeting a couple of friends that were visiting the Tate!
we had plenty of drinks outside and when it started raining we decided to move inside!
The "manager", or "landlord" refused to serve us and told us to leave as I had my tiny , well behaved chihuhahua with me saying that dogs are not allowed in a very rude and obnoxious way!
I told him off politely and left...he wasnt worth my time and effort!
He was drinking on a table by the door and was visibly intoxicated!
They only care about ripping off naive american tourists that cannot argue with them !
AVOID THIS PUB! ITS A TOURIST TRAP ! AND THAT GUY IS THE WORST "DOG" OUT THERE!

very nice and clean pub. the girls behind the bar are very nice and friendly
but the guys can be cocky and unfriendly unless you are a blond with big boobs! good beers but the have to work on their attitude a little bit!

The Old Sergeant, Wandsworth
the new management has done a great job!
its a lot cleaner, friendlier and looks so much better..
A great pub indeed without the pretentious , arrogant punters you see everywhere nowadays.
