Since the re-opening I'd highly recommend both the food and the beer, the half duck in orange sauce is to die for quite frankly.

Excellent ales and the food seems to have improved noticably in recent times, easily the best of the central Woking options..

Greatly improved since the new landlord took over, you can actually get a pint of decent ale now which always helps!

Easily the best pub in Woking, a fantastic and ever-changing selection of ales - lovingly cared for by Kyle the Kiwi deputy manager, good food (I'd have to disagree about it being expensive, they might not have the 2 for 1 deals that Wetherspoons and the like have, but the food is far better quality and not exactly wallet -breaking), and a very friendly atmosphere, something conspicuous by it's absence in most pubs around Woking.

If you aren't too easily offended ask Kyle his opinion of Gordon Ramsay, who he worked with for a time..
