As I live so near this pub I have visited it on several occasions. Every time I have been I swear never to return. I have always had to wait at the bar for at least 10 minutes (even when its quite and I alone am the que and there are 3 bar staff!!) No apology is ever made for the wait and the staff dont seem to care less (if they manage a break in their conversation to serve it looks like hardship!). I have unfortunatly also eaten here a few times and every time it has been BAD. Ive waited 20 minutes for my food to arrive after the rest of my table have been served, the wait for food is always very long and not worth it. Apauling food, Its overpriced and over microwaved. The customer service here is non existant. If it wasnt for the gorgeous location I dont think anyone would ever visit here.
Local friends have also stated how totally shocking this place is and the general feeling is to avoid.

Lovely refurb, friendly staff and great food. Welcome change to the Red Lion. Been a couple of times recently and will certainly go back!

We booked a table for 6 at the Harrow on Fathers Day and as a result of that, visited again more recently and I have only good things to say. The food was excellent on all occasions and really good value for money. The service was also really good and all the staff extremly welcoming. Even turning up with babies in buggies doesnt put them off! I would (and have) recommended this pub to friends and living very nearby will certainly visit many more times. Keep up the good work!

Nice traditional drinkers pub. Could be a bit more welcoming to non regulars though...we dont bite.
