I really like this place. Good beer, good food and its the oldest pub in Edinburgh.

Sinclairs Oyster Bar, Manchester

A definite oasis amongst the concrete and glass of Manchester's success. Its been moved at least twice and is still going strong.

Atlas Bar, Deansgate

A nice place to meet up as its directly below Deansgate station. A nice blend of style and comfort. Meet up in here and then proceed directly across the road to Ther Knott Bar for beer that tastes of something.

What a great pub. Ignore Atlas across the road and come and have a lovely real ale or a speciality Belgian or German beer. Probably the best city centre pub in Manchester.

The Pendle Witch, Sabden

Sadly, this pub seems to trade on its proximity to Pendle Hill and little else to attract customers.

One of my favourite pubs. Always make time for this place when I'm in town.

The Temple, Manchester

Very impressed with this place. Has a real European feel to it with German beer on draught.
