The Bed Bar, Woking

Decent bands play here every Friday. Beer is nothing special but worth a go.

The Sovereigns, Woking

Feels a bit like a Wetherspoons - lots of real ale and good standard food at reasonable prices. This is a proper pub.

Enzo's Bar, Woking

Bit of a flashy Italian joint - but hits the spot with some good beer.

Best pub in town and beats some stiff competition and has the most choice of beers around also does the quiz on a sunday.

The Cricketers, Guildford

Not bad all in all but dont stop out this end of town much maybe worth eating here if the landlord isnt a complete pig.

The Britannia, Guildford

Pretty good pub located by the river - better than it used to be with Spitfire ale on the go but this isnt as good as the weyside across the pond.

The Boileroom, Guildford

Average music venus with mostly lager on sale - no seating.

The Bell Inn, Guildford

Now appears to have become a run down indian restaurant, to be honest its hardly an ideal setting they may as well bulldoze the building and be done with it.

Bar Med, Guildford

This is where the chavs take their chavette girlfriends at the weekend.

Bar Centro, Guildford

Small italian restaurant, does what it says it does in providing food and bottled lager. Ok, but not as good as Zizzi.

Auberge, Guildford

Slightly down and out resteurant at the moment and the meals here are pretty basic, there is some two for the price of one meals going on i think, but dont come here for the beer as its rubbish and over priced.

The Astolat, Guildford

Has quite a few changing real ales on at the moment. Definitely worth a go every now and then when in this area of town. Does a pub quiz on both Thursday and Sunday night so an enjoyable place to go aslong as you dont mind the locals who can be noisy at times.

The Albany, Guildford

Pretty good pub these days, definitely better than it used to be. A couple of changing ales if that is your kind of thing but the meals here are also excellent value at the moment and it is enjoyable to sit outside in the garden area. Long live the Albany!
