The Hope and Anchor, Liverpool

Ah...The Yellow Pub. By far my favourite pub in Liverpool. What i like about this place is it's not right in the middle of liverpool so you don't get the place full of old people. It's got 4 pool tables, couches, no smoking sections, tv's and a big screen, beer garden (my personal favourite), excellent choice of beer, spirits and alcopops. The downside is the toilets are at the top of a massive flight of stairs but clean (the squeeky doors go right through me, you'll know when u hear them), also the food is gorgeous. The people are great and vary from ages 18-30. Never any trouble here. Would recommend to anyone.

The Krazy House, Liverpool

Excellent night out for you Rock n Roll lovers. 3 floors of different types of music. 1st floor is more for the Heavy Metal loverswho like music by Korn, Slipknot etc and don't mind the odd "goth" dancing like they're having a fit. 2nd floor is more rock and plays things like foo fighters, guns n roses etc. 3rd floor is more pop/indie/dance types of tunes. Good atmosphere and decent prices for the drinks. Open only of a thursday, friday and saturday and only costs a few quid to get in. Don't forget to put your coat in the cloak room which is situated 2nd floor-ish next to the pool tables. Would reccomend to anyone planning a big night out or birthday bash.

Barracuda, Liverpool

Not my favourite place to go, because of the prices, but it's a nice pub with a decent pint. Big screens everywhere, interesting things to look at on the walls, and the toilets are clean (which is always a bonus). But at night, mainly of a weekend, it is impossible to get served at the bar.

The Premiere, Kirkby

To tell you the truth, this place needs to be refurbished. The carpets have lost thier design pattern and also stinks. The mens toilets is 2 cubicles, which don't have bog paper or lights above them or even have a lock on the door, and there's one big urinal. The floor is always covered in piss and there's a mirror on the wall so people drinking at tables can see you doing your business. The ladies is worse. The lager and bitter is ok, there is a selection of alcopops like WKD but not always, if they run out, then they run out. Also a selection of shorts. The staff are very nice. The drinkers keep themselves to themselves but are no harm. Nobody under 25 would be caught dead in there. There is always good live entertainment on every night and a brilliant quiz on a tuesday.

The Pumphouse, Liverpool

Not too bad, wouldn't spend all day in here. Oh and beware of the wooden floor, it makes this loud creeking noise when you walk on it which feels like you're going to fall through it.

The Derby Arms, Knowsley

This is a good pub with a choice of all kinds of beers and spirits. It has 2 floors, downstairs is the actual pub which has big screen TV for football etc. Upstairs is a restaurant with decent food. There is a play area for kids and also a beer garden for the summer days. This pub is situated in the middle of kirkby and huyton which is good because you don't get teenagers hanging around or trying to get in. It's clean and has a decent atmosphere, karaoke and quiz's come weekly and is alot of fun. Would recommend to anyone who wants a decent pint or bite to eat with friends/family.

Coopers, Liverpool

This is a decent enough pub situated next to the cash points in Lime Street train station in Liverpool. Mostly people who are waiting for trains or who get off the train and fancy a quick pint come here. I go here sometimes with friends to just chill out. The bar staff are friendly, there is a small, but decent, choice of aloholic drinks available, the food is good and there is a juke box. It's only small but it's cozy. I'd recommend this to people who fancy a quick pint.

Gino's, Kirkby

This place has changed it's name, yet again! It's now called 'Brambles'. Same stuff goes on though.

Gino's, Kirkby

This Pub is a 2 minute walk away from the main bus stops in kirkby town centre. It has had a few names over the years...Firstly it was Gino's, then Butlers, then The Central and now it's back to Gino's again. During the day it's full of the same old men drinking guiness and lager. At night it's more of the younger generation wearing Lacoste trackies and hoodies that tend to hang there. Of a weekend it has it's own DJ playing scouse house, RnB and much other stuff. Violence comes round now and again and that's why I dont go anymore. I personally would not recommend this pub to anyone.

Bar Ca Va, Liverpool

It's a sound little pub with good relaxed atmos. There's an upstairs section to this place aswell. The bar has a wide selection of tequilas including baked bean flavour with actual beans in it which i think sounds sick. The pints of budweiser are decent.

Gold Balance, Kirkby

This pub is ok when it comes to meeting your mates before you head off somewhere else. Quality food is served daily and you can even get a decent pint of Budweiser. The toilets are a pain being up a flight of stairs, but if you get lost, there are arrows pointing the way. They have recently had TV screens fitted which is an excellent idea, but the only thing is they don't have sky sports 1,2,3. Also the bar staff are friendly. Strangly enough, it's busier in the day than at night.
