The Corrib Rest, Queens Park

Yeah, this place is pretty rockin'. Nice beer, decent crowd and a pool table. In Queenspark this is about the best place to drink. Personally I prefer classy Kilburn. However one the bar staff is a trainee nurse, so if you get bottled or start to choke on you own vomit, medical help is near by (Hi 'Nessy!!!!).

The Lower Ground Bar, West Hampstead

To put it simple terms, West Hampstead is bollocks for pubs and bars. There are two sorts of watering holes. 1)Complete dives with no atmosphere or Character. 2)Snobby trendy type bars full of trendy twenty somethings (W*****s). So the Lower ground bar fits nicely between the two. There is nowhere else to go late for a drink. It's really not that bad. For a late night drink it's ok, besides why waste your time drinking in West Hampstead?

Latelys, West Hampstead

Yeah, i've started drinking there recently. Nice place. Nice people, nice beer. The toilets are rather shocking. Worth a visit for a late night booze up.

The Galway Hooker, Neasden

Ahh, Good old Diceys. It's a late night club/bar. A lot of my friends seem to go there. I've only ever been there twice and for a good reason. It's mingin'. Absolutely minging!! The stuff nightmares are made of!! The regulars arn't trusted to drink with glass bottles responsably, so nobody can take a drink onto the dance floor. The chicken shop next door serves the food through a bank security window, so the poor downtroden employee won't be beaten to death by an angry drunk local thug who is disputing weather or not he paid for a 1 bag of chips. It's easy to get a cab after, mind. Approach with caution..... ohh, and make sure THAT YOU are half cut before you go in there.

The Good Ship, Kilburn

Indeed Travis is right. This place has re-opened and yes it is much, much better. The music is dope and the service is fantastic. Although they no longer play R and B. But that might not be a bad thing.

The Railway, West Hampstead

I live near by this place and I actually quite like it. Im always served quickly. However, I have heard some negative things from my friends about this place. It seems the bar staff can be prone to rudeness, but I still get better service in the Railway, then I do at the Ponce magnets in the surrounding area.

Quinn's, Camden

Yeah, this place is great on a saturday night. A mate recomended it. Had a fantastic night. Its open late and the atmosphere is brilliant. A nice crowd. I asked one of the punters where the cigerette machine was, he informed me there wasn't one. He then insisted on supplying me with some of his own rolling tobacco. I politely refused, but he insisted 'c'mon, you only live once!, take it!'. Highly recomended for a late night Camden drink.

Cane, West Hampstead

I live in the area and I can honestly say this is a nice bar. Its the staff and people who drink in there who spoil it. Prentenious is hitting the nail on the head!!! Ghastly. My advice is try the Railway down the road. The Bronze Age in Kilburn nearby is much better. They also have zero tolerance to substance abuse in the toilet cubicles, a better class of punter. You can enjoy a pint without being made to feel like a lower class of person.
