The Horse and Jockey, Curbridge

First visit to the H&J last night, and I was v. impressed. Food was top notch pub grub. I had a perfect Ribeye. Beers on offer were standard Fullers fare (It is a Fullers pub now after all). Staff very friendly and efficient. Overall 8/10, let down only by the price of drink - 8.20 for 2 pints and a water FFS!

The Thomas Lord, West Meon

Paid a visit on a lovely summer midweek afternoon, garden was resplendent creating a lovely atmosphere and setting. Real wood pizza oven was blazing away! Beer was on stillage behind the bar, a tad warm and flat for my taste but in good nick! Sampled the Triple fff Moondance and Alton's Pride. Will return to have a go at the pizza's which looked fantastic!

The Old Bell, Fleet Street

Beer is always in superb nick (especially the Timmy Taylors Landlord) Food looks good and wholesome. Staff a bit surly, but heh, you are in Central London!

been using the Wheatsheaf regularly for 5 or so years now - Beer is consitently superb, as is the freshly prepared food at lunch! Even us smokers are catered for now with one of the best shelters I've seen in the Garden!!!!
Highly recommended!!!!
